Matt's most recent passion is his association with a non-profit organization Headstart Acquired Brain Injury Service. Headstart supports adults affected by brain injury to live as independently as possible in the community. The affects of ABI include those affected by stroke, head injuries; brain tumours; assaults; and vehicle accidents. The effects of a brain injury can affect behaviour, personality, physical and sensory abilities often leaving people isolated and cut of from relationships.
Matt is developing a photographic exhibition that is aimed to raise education and the public profile of brain injury. Matt realises that he can't save the world with one photograph but can change the world, one photograph at a time.
